Here is a moch-up of limestone
stone panels set in a running
bond fashion. Note the flat panels
have beveled edges to give the
illusion of being thick cubic
pieces. Hooker pieces are also
used to wrap the corners and to
give a "massive " image.
The top cornice has an air void
in the center of it to reduce
weight. All these measures work
to substantially reduce weight. |
